R-VQD Disc Coupling is composed of several groups of the diaphragm(stainless thin plates), connecting with two half couplings with bolts interlocked; each group of the diaphragm is made of several overlapping pieces; the disc coupling is divided into rod types and different shapes of integral pieces.The elastic deformation then makes up for the relative displacement of the shafts. It is a high-performance dentex coupling with metallic elements.
It can be used with one or both hubs turned outward for different shaft separations.
Make-up for two shaft lines is not in the same direction; compared with gear coupling, the angular displacement can be twice as large. When radial displacement the reaction force is small and flexiblity is large. Allowing some axial,radial and angular displacement.
Having an obvious damping function, no noise, and no abrasion.
It is suitable for high temperatures (-80 ~ +300) and a dreadful working environment, and it is safe to run under compact and vibration conditions.
High transmission efficiency and it can reach 99.86%, especially suitable for medium and high-speed power transmission.
Simple structure, lightweight, small volume, convenient installation. It can be assembled and dismantled without moving the machine (refer to the type with the intermediate shaft).
